Art of Creativity:

1. I have experienced many "flash of inspiration" moments before. I have realized that many of these moments come while I am falling asleep at night. I have also had many come to me while I have been on hikes with my dog. I feel that many of my best ideas come when I am not forcing myself to think about them. It seems that when I am forcing myself to think about new ideas when I can not think of any that I actually like.

2. I never thought of myself having a method for coming up with idea but after thinking about it I do. Usually when I am having trouble thinking of an idea i refer back to nature. There are many beautiful things in nature. I have many books of different insects and flowers that I look through sometimes to get ideas. I also go into nature when I am so I can clear my mind and be amongst nature in person. I have also noticed that I think of ideas better after working out.

3. The last couple of days I have taken time each day to sit in my main lounge and observe what is going on. I sat in the lounge at different times each day. Usually I only sit in the lounge if I am waiting to meet someone and come down earlier than them. I usually sit on my phone until they come down. The last few days I have put my phone away and observed everything. There have been maintenance people cleaning and yelling to one another. They are the same people everyday that I had never paid to much attention to before. Some days the tv is on with no one watching while other days there are been people gathering on the couches watching together. I also noticed all the people that walk through or by the lounge. There are certain times between classes that there are a rush of people while other times there is no one. Watching these people go by I noticed the very different styles people have. I also noticed the different colors in peoples clothes and hair. Many people walk through not paying any attention to what is around them either on their cell phones or ipods which I used to do before I took the time to sit and observe. There were many things to notice and focus in on while sitting in the lounge. The weather also effected the lighting in the lounge whether it was snowy or sunny.

4. This article talks about how to relax physically so that you can relax and feel yourself relieve its tensity. It also talks about taking deep breaths and taking in more oxygen. While relaxing physically you also need to relax mentally. This article gives ways to do both. You need that sense of relaxation for your ind to become free. It also talks about kids creative minds and kids that play more are usually more creative. When you have more fun and are thinking outside the bow it is easier for your mind to find new ideas.

5. I think this type of kinesthetic would have been helpful in the 1500-1800's in Europe. I am sure that there were people that did do similar things to help them come up with new idea people had just not studied it yet. It can make you feel like you are not as talented if other people are coming up with ideas and you can't. I am not sure if people would have necessarily thought this type of thinking would be a good idea but it would help.
