After reading this article I think that if Russolo were to have a world with out simultaneous sound he would be very bored. Russolo thinks of sounds as feelings. He likes to play and here sounds in a way of imagining what they are representing. He thinks through sound more than most people I know. I think that if he lived in a world with out sound he would not have a subject of interest like he does now. He is a type of artist that thinks through noise and without that he may or may not be able to express his creativity through feeling in a different way. Living in a world with out these simultaneous sounds Russolo would not be challenged to interpret or feel the sounds that he is hearing and play them together to form a different sound and feeling.
Russolo does value noise. He loves noise and how different they all are. He finds them interesting to put together and the feelings the sounds instigate. I do value noise. With out noise I would feel lost in the world. Although I may not focus on noise as much as musicians or other types of artists I do value noise and the sounds around me. With out noise I would not be able to feel the reactions to the sounds I could be hearing which would cause me to miss out of many things in life.
The sound environment in my dorm is much more hectic than the sound environment in my house. There are many more people moving, talking and closing doors in my dorm than my house. Also in my dorm I can hear the sounds of the city like sirens and cars driving by which I also do not hear in my house. The sound environment in my house is much more calm. I would usually hear my sister singing and my dog barking when there was a lot going on. I can focus in my dorm because I can keep myself from getting to distracted from my work. As an environment I can focus better in my house because there is more over all quiet and also more places to go to if one more is not quiet.
