What does video have to do with power?

I think video has to do with power in a way that some people feel as if they have more authority when they are on camera. People sometimes try to show off by being in more control over a situation or people. Video can also capture people being in more control and showing the different peoples placement. For example if someone is more direct or passive.

What does video have to do with how we live our lives?

We look to video as a way to see how we live. Video can capture what is going on in all different places and keep people connected. Video can also evoke peoples emotion and show a different side to something that has happened. Our culture also watches video and television as a part of everyday life. We see what is going and in the world and in other peoples lives and can compare it to our own.

What kind of life do you live and how will video technology influence that?

I do not want to be sheltered in my own town and small problems and not know what is going on in the world. Video can capture things that are happening around the world and share it in other places so that I can be educated and know what is going on. Seeing the problems of the world also helps me to feel more lucky and realize my problems are very minimal.
